My client is a leading financial institution based in Hong Kong with strong presence in Asia, who is looking for a Strategy and Corporate Development Senior Manager / Director to join the team. You will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives, identifying growth opportunities, and leading key corporate development projects.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute long-term strategic plans in alignment with the company's vision and objectives.
Conduct thorough market analysis, competitive assessments, and industry research to identify growth areas and emerging trends.
Lead the evaluation, structuring, and execution of strategic partnerships, alliances, mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate development opportunities.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive strategic projects and initiatives.
Provide insightful recommendations and actionable insights to senior management based on comprehensive analysis.
Continuously monitor industry dynamics and regulatory changes to adapt and optimize strategic plans accordingly.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field.
Minimum 6-10 years of experience in strategy / corporate development / FIG investment banking, or management consulting within the financial services industry
Proven track record in leading and executing strategic initiatives, including M&A transactions and partnerships.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Fluency in English; proficiency in Cantonese or Mandarin is advantageous.
