My client is currently looking for a talented individual to join their growing team as Chief of Staff (Senior Director / Assistant Vice President) at a growing financial institution based in Hong Kong.
Position:
As the Chief of Staff (Senior Director / Assistant Vice President), you will serve as a key advisor to the senior leadership team and play a pivotal role in driving strategic initiatives and operational efficiency. You will work closely with the CEO, Head of Strategy and other senior executives to streamline processes, enhance communication, and execute key business priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a strategic partner to the CEO and senior leadership team, providing critical insights and support on key business decisions and initiatives.
  • Drive the execution of strategic projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence, optimize processes, and enhance overall performance.
  • Develop and implement strategic communication plans to ensure effective internal and external communication.
  • Serve as a liaison between different departments and business units, fostering collaboration and alignment across the organization.
  • Analyze business performance metrics and KPIs to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare executive-level presentations, reports, and other materials for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10-15 years of experience in corporate strategy / business management / chief of staff / distribution or product management capacity, preferably within the financial services industry.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into actionable plans.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven track record of driving operational efficiency and delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Open-minded individual with ability to work in a fluid environment.
