Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate to join a generalist PE firm based in Boston specializing in Buyouts and Growth Equity transactions.
The Associate will play a key role in evaluating new investment opportunities, executing transactions, and supporting portfolio company initiatives alongside senior team members.
Qualifications
  • 2–3 years of investment banking, private equity, management consulting experience
  • Strong analytical skills and experience building complex financial models from scratch
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to work independently and within a lean, fast-paced team
  • Undergraduate degree from a top-tier university; MBA not required
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis, including LBO modeling, valuation, and sensitivity analysis
  • Lead due diligence efforts, working with legal, accounting, and industry experts
  • Develop investment memos and presentation materials for internal and external stakeholders (e.g., IC, LPs)
  • Perform market and competitive research to identify and evaluate new opportunities
  • Support portfolio company monitoring and value-creation initiatives
  • Collaborate with management teams on strategic growth projects and operational improvements
