The client is looking for a Strategic People Partner to join their Global Value Delivery team and execute the strategic goals of the organisation around people development and resource allocation. The role holder will be responsible for supporting organisational wide goals across more than 8000 people. This role will focus on both organization-wide alignment to strategy and local market requirements and needs.
This role will translate the approach and deliver support to the business around key People cycles and moments, including the implementation of performance management, compensation, benefits and development.
The role will work with the COO and Senior Leadership Teams, to build and foster an industry leading performance culture centered around a focus on our People and delivery of our strategy.​
Key Responsibilities
  • Build relationships with business leaders to offer thought leadership on organizational and people-related strategy and execution.
  • Understand the business strategy and identify opportunities to increase alignment with the strategy by helping business leaders identify, prioritize and build organizational capabilities, behaviours, structures and processes.
  • Act as the advocate for leading the talent management and development plans for the business unit with a focus on enhancing the quality of leaders and managers, building skills and capabilities of the workforce, and ensuring succession bench strength.
  • Diagnose gaps between current and desired organization performance and deploy actions to resolve gaps, including organization redesign, process change, coaching and training.
  • Analyze workforce trends to model and forecast future labor requirements to support senior leaders in workforce planning and succession management.
  • Review key business performance targets and their related talent implications with business leaders.
  • Assist business unit leaders to create development programs for high-potential employees.
  • Review and benchmark the internal and external environment to identify new opportunities for HR and to improve HR policies and initiatives.
  • Identify and drive the sharing of best practices across functions to facilitate continuous improvement.
  • Act as a liaison between the line, HR operations and COEs to ensure Global Shared Services Centres are aligned with internal client needs.
  • Align performance management and reward strategies to reinforce an environment of dedication and innovation with and across business units.
  • Coach senior leaders to improve leadership abilities, relationships among teams/individuals and interpersonal communications, as well as deliver effective performance feedback.
Key Requirements
  • Preferably 10-15+ years’ experience in a global fast paced organization, plus proven real-world experience and expertise of operationalizing strategy and planning within a fast paced, global, culturally diverse, matrix organization with a passion for purpose and culture.
  • Must also have strong consultative problem-solving skills and be able to collaborate and network both within the HR function and throughout the organization to identify synergies in work and business goals.
  • Strong, demonstrated experience in a global People (HR) partnership role.
  • Strong, demonstrated experience leading a team of People (HR) professionals.

  • Proven real-world experience and expertise of operationalizing strategy and planning within a fast paced, global, culturally diverse, matrix organization with a passion for purpose and culture.
  • Proven track record in supporting the strategic planning for a global service organization.
  • Prior experience in effectively leading strategic programmes, activities, including Key Strategic Initiatives in a complex and geographically dispersed organization.
  • Previous experience in successfully executing strategic activities and processes for successful integration and change management outcomes.
  • Previous experience successfully operating in a diverse range of organisations, cultures, and countries.
