This is a highly reputable direct-to-consumer retail services business with over 500 locations across Asia-Pacific. To drive the company’s agenda to become a data driven organization, they are seeking a high-calibre individual to join them as the Head of Business Analytics, Asia.
Responsibilities:
  • Report to the Chief Operating Officer, leading the Data Analytics function as the first hire into the function
  • Own the Data Analytics platform with the mandate to build, implement, and grow Business Intelligence capabilities of the business
  • Key stakeholder to senior leadership team, functional / in-country leads, external vendors, application owners
  • Provide support to senior leadership team on strategic analyses, building models in relation to operational and business performance (pricing and gap analysis, etc)
  • Increase visibility of business performance by developing KPI and financial dashboards, sharing best practices and playbook with end-users
  • Manage database and data warehousing efforts – design, storage, integration, structure, aggregation, etc
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
  • A minimum of 10 years business analysis / business intelligence experience gained at a sizeable organisation, preferably within B2C businesses
  • Familiarity with statistical methodologies and data modelling – 3rd normal form as well as dimensional modelling such as star and snowflake schemes
  • Advanced user in Microsoft Excel, pivot tables, VBA
  • Proven track record in stakeholder management, collaborating with individuals across the organisation
  • Advanced capabilities in data visualisation, data warehousing, and managing large data sets
