This Asian mid-cap private equity firm is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join one of its portfolio companies based in Singapore. The CFO will be instrumental in driving a comprehensive finance transformation, enhancing the function’s capabilities, optimizing financial performance, improving operational efficiency, and executing strategic initiatives to maximize value creation.

Responsibilities:
Report directly to the CEO, leading a substantial finance team with a large Asia-Pacific footprint.
Partner with the executive team and private equity investors to develop and implement a strategic finance transformation plan aligned with exit timelines.
Identify and capitalize on value creation opportunities by working with management teams to implement strategies that drive profitability, improve cash flow, and enhance overall business performance.
Develop and refine financial performance metrics and reporting frameworks to track progress toward exit goals.
Strengthen and oversee the finance organization, encompassing controllership, financial planning, operations, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
Lead due diligence for potential bolt-on acquisitions, providing comprehensive analysis and strategic recommendations to inform investment decisions.
Ensure adherence to relevant financial regulations, reporting standards, and tax requirements, while implementing strong internal controls and risk management procedures.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting, with a professional accounting qualification.
A minimum of 20 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, ideally within private equity portfolio companies and/or industrial and manufacturing sectors.
Proven expertise in finance transformation, with demonstrated success in elevating performance analytics, operational efficiency, talent development, reporting tools, and team structure.
Strong track record of improving EBITDA, cash flow, top-line growth, cost productivity, and profitability.
Experience in stakeholder management, with a history of successful collaboration with C-suite executives, Board members, and cross-functional leaders.
